Rick Roberts

picture of Rick and his wife Rick (the guy on the left) is preferred.com's sysadmin. His qualifications:

He has a linux box at home.
He was hired by Preferred as a HTML designer, and became sysadmin when their previous sysadmin left for greener pastures.

Frankly, I feel sorry for Rick. He was probably at the level of unix expertise I was a year ago, and he got thrown into responsibility of a rather complex computer system. I suppose he's learning fast. I sincerely hope he is, as Preferred's system is showing the lack of a good admin at the helm.
